Buckle up boys, when tonight's game is over, it will be pretty much impossible to use any social media for at least a week, especially this site.

I had low expectations going into the season and even going into the playoffs, but blowing back to back 3:1 serie leads, choking both home games 5 in OT? That's just brutal and every Bruin fan will be reminded of this failure for years to come.

So if we buy into the NHL conspiracy theory, there are already two Canadian teams through to the next round, do they really want a third Canadian team in? I doubt it, so I am sure we will win because they would rather have a Boston/Florida matchup - I mean, there is more rivalry there from last year. Am I doing it right? The other issue is if the Bruins eliminate the Leaf's TSN and Sports Net will spend more time evaluating the Leaf's ,than covering the rest of the Playoffs. Listening to the broadcasters pout over the Leaf loss brings me great pleasure

Lots of us are also Red Sox fans. For us old-timers we had to live through 1986. No championship since 1918. Game 6 of the World Series. Two outs, no one on base in the 9th inning with a 2-run led. Hard to top that one.

Right. If we have to lose I'd rather it be tomorrow which would bring about significant structural change then to win and then go out in a boring listless five to Florida while running it back next year with the same roster. Winning would be great just for it running Dangle's life.

I'm not sure if I'm pessimistic or optimistic.

Pretty sure, win or lose, they won't be coming back with the same roster.

Gotta start on time tonight, the garden is gonna be filled with a lot of nervous energy after last season's choke. Start on time and give the crowd a reason to get behind you early and I like their chances. That's all it comes down to IMO.
