Yeah they should get a professional curler in the building to let a curling stone slide down the ice from the other net as soon as the player touches the puck, and if the stone catches up to you the attempt is over.

You gotta remember, the Isles haven’t done anything wrong this series. It’s important to establish that however this series ends up, the Islanders play the game The Right Way. That is in stark contrast to the Hurricanes, who have proven time and time again that they play the game The Wrong Way, which is embarrassing and not something that, personally, any self-respecting Islanders fan would ever be caught dead supporting.
