Nothing has worked for them so far in this series....

It's just a case of the Canes can play their "D" and "C" game and still best their "A" game.
Note* I'm not thrilled by that the majority of this series the Canes just seem to be coasting.

This feels remarkably similar to Game 6 last season, when the Islanders lost their jump late in the game and blew a slim 3rd period lead that would have kept them alive. That time, the Canes got the OT goal to end the series. We’ll see what happens this time, but the vibes are near identical.

He was scoring 50+ goals in the AHL two years ago....
He's doing that on PP 2.

He's a key role player nothing more nothing less and he plays his role well.

2nd unit works. Thought the first unit was still on. He had the one big season in the AHL. The stats themselveses don't mean much since he was 30 but how he scored them can indicate there is something there.
