Sakic was available when Bruins were on the clock

Bruins had earlier taken Wesley and the hosts suggested they could go Jody Hull here but more likely a center to replace Barry Pederson - and Joe Sakic fits what they need

But alas - another D in Stephane Quintall
I remember that well. Swearing my ass off at my tv.

Danny Gallivan was really good
Danny Gallivan had a really good play by play voice, but had some really weird catch phrases like "digging doggedly", "scintillating save", and "cannonading drive", which were later coined as Gallivanisms

The problem with Gallivan is that he loved the habs too much and it showed in his voice when they played.....especially against the Bruins

I'm sure he was very sad when Jonathan pummelled "Big Bouchard" back in '78

Hey is it just me or is the NHL overlaying fake crowd noise on the game highlights videos on their app? I was just watching the re-cap of the Kings/Oilers game, and it was pretty much all fake crowd noise on it. I then watched the Bruins game re-cap, and pretty much the same thing. It's like adding a laugh track to a TV show, I can't stand it. For what it's worth the app was so much better the last few seasons, and sucks now. Yes, I realize I'm old.
Watch the YouTube highlights with Sportsnet, they are not using the fake crowd noise.

Let's hope Donnie gets a deal done and we keep Jake.
I’m Leafs I got one more year of Taveras and let Bertuzzi go

Build line 1 around

Matthews & Marner

Line 2

Nylander & DeBrusk

He would be great on that team

Hopefully he’s here but my people told me watch out for Toronto

Lots of teams are gonna want him. Luckily we know Donnie loves him. So I think they'll get a deal done.

- committed the penalty on Coyle which lead to the DeBrusk PP goal

- tried to tango with with game's best rat and ended looking like a fool as Frederic scored

- went down to block the Marchand GWG and missed

- got bodied off the puck by Marchand, who eventually scored the ENG to put the game away

He's playing like he wants the Bruins to win

I’m Monty when I have my captain meeting I tell Brad - play your cleanest game of your life Saturday because the refs are looking for you

The boos every time he touches the puck should be loudest since the Red Army came out for warmups in Philadelphia

Exactly why we should get back if Toronto signs DeBrusk

He’s a Bruins at heart

I want to see DeBrusk play on a fast paces team in hard core hockey town

Bruins are 4 here / Toronto hockey is life

brutal call
Yup but good on Taveras brain instantly recognizing this is a stick push and hitting deck

After just getting a too many men PP and Bruins down 5 D off that due to injury this was likely not ending well

Ref should not have called - and I’m surprised but the cynic in me says league wants long series

I can't see DeBrusk wanting anything to do with the Toronto media.

One of the best games Jake has played in the playoffs. The forechecking was relentless.

Debrusk has been one of the most consistent and hard working forwards of the playoffs ironically.

Taveras drew key penalty in game 2 that flipped game

Felt the push by Grz knew it was stick and went down like shot

Tavares has had a few flops this series but Toronto fans screaming over Marchand, let alone Bertuzzi.

Yep. It all evens out. You live by the sword and die by the sword, as Tavares found out, when Charlie McAvoy "helped" draw that Holding call against him late in Game 3.
