Here is some info on our league. We are looking for one more Manager to take apart of our 14 man league. It is on ESPN, its a 13 category scoring H2H... For more information please contact me at [email protected] We have a Facebook page and we are starting our offline email draft very soon.
Understanding the KMC League / Rules:
Rotating Divisions:
There are 3 Divisions (NHL, AHL, CHL). The NHL holds the top 4 teams in overall points, the AHL holds the next highest 4 teams in overall points, then the CHL holds the worst 6 teams based on overall points.
Example:
NHL:
Team A w/ 127 pts
Team B w/ 125 pts
Team C w/ 123 pts
Team D w/ 117 pts
AHL:
Team E w/ 115 pts
Team F w/ 110 pts
Team G w/ 99 pts
Team H w/ 99 pts
CHL:
Team I w/ 89 pts
Team J w/ 88 pts
Team K w/ 85 pts
Team L w/ 80 pts
Team M w/ 75 pts
Team N w/ 66 pts
Now every Monday after the end of the previous week’s matchup, the best single team in the AHL and CHL with the most overall points advance to the NHL, and the AHL. While the worst team in the NHL and CHL are demoted down one league. The object is to obviously be in the highest league possible for bragging rights.
League Schedules:
Schedules are updated weekly and based on the division you are in. If you are in the AHL, you will only play other AHL members and so on until you are promoted or demoted to the next league. You will not play the same player for back to back for any reason unless its in a special tournament. So each week you are guaranteed a new matchup.
Draft Lottery:
At the beginning of the season your team is given 100 DLPs (Draft Lottery Picks). If you get an overall weekly win against an opponent you will gain 5 DLPs and the loser will lose 5 DLPs. If you get an epic weekly win (double digits) the winner gains 10 DLPs and the loser looses 10 DLPs. During Playoff Matches and Special Tournaments DLPs will be earned and loss also. Just because a player has the most DLPs, it does not mean he will automatically gain the 1st overall pick, it just means he has a higher potential to win it. As long as you still have at least 1 DLP, you have a chance at winning the Draft Lottery for next year as it is chosen at random.org
Special Tournaments:
There are 3 special tournaments help each year that have special rules. Each tournament is completely different from the last one and a schedule will be posted that show the start time and duration of each special tournament. There will be special rewards for the winner of the tournament to include: extra DLP’s, chance to promote / demote players to other leagues as well as gain the ability to automatically keep 1 player on his roster for next season regardless of age.
Keeper League:
There will be 5 Keeper positions on your team. A player is only eligible to be a keeper until he turns the age of 25. If your player has turns 25 after June 1st but before September 1st of whatever year (aka summer birthday) he is still eligible to be a keeper for the next year. If a keeper player is traded he is still retains keeper status. The only way a keeper status is lost is if he is sent by you to the FA list. You must select your keepers by Thursday October 23rd.
