This is a good game for Staubitz, but I wonder how effective he can really be as a deterrent with 35 stitches in his face. Tough SOB. Hopefully DST further screws up the Blues' internal clocks.

I think he meant our D Allen - he's been out with the flu.

Maroon got sent back to the AHL last week (and has been doing very well there), conjecture is because if he played one more game he would have had to go through waivers again to do so.

I think that reason for Maroon being sent down was because they still wanted to test out other players and would have had to sent Maroon through waivers if he had stayed longer. I would rather have him in the lineup than Staubitz for sure.

What Maroons brings has nothing to do with what Staubitz adds.
Maroon is not an enforcer and has top 3 line upside both should be dressed most games

I think Maroon was sent down because they are auditioning players for the 2nd line, and potentially for the 1st line next year, and using the 4th line to do it. Thus far, nobody has really shown anything, which is why they probably keep juggling.

I'm not saying I agree or disagree with it, just that it seems to explain the rotation.

Love how the Blues play. Hoping our dmen have a better time handling and passing the puck tonight, the first half against Calgary was awful.
