According to both Sportsnet tracker and TSN tracker, the Ducks have signed defenseman Nate Guenin, 32, to a one-year contract worth 600k USD.

Sounds like an extremely cheap replacement for one of the dooming three, Bieksa, Stoner and Depres. If we were able to somehow get rid of one of them, Guenin might be able to step right in as their replacement. Serviceable defenseman for all I remember, but obviously nothing more than a #6 guy.

I don't think we can trade Stoner. I think our best trade chips are Despres and Fowler
