Godspeed.

Also, burkie at work. Hopefully no players back so we can clear a contract.

I guess given it’s almost a given Henrique is exposed to Seattle we didn’t need him to meet the exposure requirements for the ED anymore.

I kind of do mind losing him. I liked him as a 4th liner for us. I also don't see him returning a piece that makes me feel better about it. His age is his only negative.

Not exactly the big trade we were anticipating but hopefully this is the start of a shake up.

Thought he was outstanding for his role last season. This season, he wasn't nearly as visible. Not terrible getting rid of a contract that had a year left on it, regardless of the return, which is hopefully just a pick.

Looking at PIT's picks, this upcoming draft they have a 2nd, 5th, and 3 7ths...
Wouldn't be shocked if it was a 2022 pick coming back.

I love Deslauriers but he's not that great of a player. Maybe we can upgrade the 4th we traded for him.

I guess Carrick really did take all of his fights

I don't mind the move, but getting rid of the contract can't be the reason. At $1M, he's barely over the minimum salary, so any replacement guy on the roster will be the same (give or take). I think the extra year at $1M enhances his value.
