Whitney at 4? Good one.

Why not? Tied for most assists and second in points by dmen in the ahl playoffs. Seeing that he he came straight from BU to the AHL playoffs is pretty good. Sound defensively(honestly cant belive defense was a knock on him after seeing him play), skates as well as any big man i have seen in a while, and is as described when it comes to him with the puck. Was #5 pick in 02', so why couldnt he be at #4?

Tyutin should be top 5, he is about the only one to prove something in the NHL, the rest haven't.

Pens are going to be stacked on the blueline, who cares about people's lame lists?

They can put Whitney at #100 for all I care, doesn't mean a damn thing.

99% of these people make these lists and are lucky if they saw 1 or 2 of these guys play.

Bouwmeester, Pitkanen, Hamhuis, Volchenkov, Morisonn... Paul Martin...
Tyutin is top-15, but there are so many good ones it's going to be impossible to make a top-10 everyone is happy with. I think Martin deserves to be up there, but I know no one will have him, so I don't fret about it.

Martin, Volchenkov, and Morrison have showed they deserve to be higher than Tyutin? :dunno: Tyutin showed flashes of brilliance this year! Next to Pitkanen and Bouwmeester, whose shown that? :dunno:

Ottawa <-> Scotland
To say Volchenkov hasn't shown flashes of brilliance is wrong, the Guy is a rock and is as tough as nails whose excellent open ice hitting has continuely drawn comparisons to Scott Stevens. We kept a spattracker on the sens board of people he had sent flying. If we want to start talking about what else he's done he did score the goal that won the world juniors as well. He has a very underrated offensive game. On the downside I think everyone on the Ottawa board agrees that he needs to work on his conditioning, this season was a right off due to injury.

Don't you think Komisarek deserves a place in the top ten?
