I wasn’t sure if he’d be back, but like others have said, $700k isn’t bad at all(figured it’d be near a mil).

He’s not a bad 14th forward, and adds another player to fight for a roster spot, as I expect Kostin, Poganski, and Kaspick to also get a decent look at as well.

This is basically minimum pay. For those who say we should promote AHLer, all of them make more than this. As we look to shave $ for Petro, this little bit helps.

He showed that he can play center, good on PK. Maybe there is more offense there, as Sunny developed, and we will be thrilled we kept him. Maybe this is who he is and he fills "guy who sits in press box when we are healthy" role. Either way, smart deal.

I can see this being the Steen replacement if there's any doubts as to his ability to play the full 82 game schedule in the FO. At 700k, he's not breaking the bank and being a 13/14 guy certainly doesn't hurt the team at this price.
