Reaves has improved lately. Saved a goal late recently IIRC. Hoping chemistry will form for Tatar and linemates. He'll find his niche. At least he was backchecking hard there. I hate it when players swipe at the puck in those situations though.

Hopefully a better first home game off a long roadie than last time vs the Flyers.

I know some players were discounting this in pregame interviews, but I've seen this trend play out over and over so many times in so many sports. Folks smarter than me (I think) have theorized about coming home to wives, families, girlfriends, problems that have come up at home while on the road, etc. and being distracted. Who knows? But there really does seem to be something to it.

We're lucky we have a nice cushion in the division. Games like this happen, especially when the team has been trying to grind their way thru this tough part of the schedule with all these injuries.

If we're still playing this lethargic when the lines are all back together, then I'll be seriously concerned.
