Pulkkinen was limited to 36 games with the Red Wings in 2015-16 due to injury but picked up 12 points (6-6-12) and 14 penalty minutes. The 24-year-old has totaled 70 games with the club since making his NHL debut in 2013-14, registering 20 points (11-9-20) and 26 penalty minutes.

Hopefully he'll be given at least a chance, unlike last year after his injury. People forget, but before the injury he was scoring at a 20 goal pace. After the injury he played limited minutes with limited offensive talent.
