he's played well for both the griffs and the wings , and would be a top 6 player and important offense producer back on griffsHello Europe
Yup, literally came to this thread to type “AAAA”.The ultimate AAAA player, to use a baseball expression. As "Banjos" said, he is probably headed to Europe. I thought he looked his best this year too. Good luck.
Can he make more in Europe than in AHL? He is, according to capfriendly, making 450k/year. How much is Swiss league paying to top imports? Can't be over 500/year...there are other positives, shorter season, less travel...Switzerland
Getting offtopic here...NL is paying the most, then it's probably between SEL and DEL, followed by Liiga and so onThe best of the best players in the Swiss League (e.g. Greg Hofmann) are making around $1M/season

Not that it’s a big deal or anything. It’s more of a why? They don’t have to send anyone down. There’s always a chance Czarnik gets claimed because he can provide some offense to someone in a bind.
Maybe they just figure, he’s gonna have to go back through waivers at some point anyway, may as well get it over with.

They really do need a veteran in GR, who’s worth a damn in the scoring department. Way too many under 22 players, and even a couple of 20s. You’ll never win with that many kids.Grand Rapids is struggling mightily for offense generation.
Also Jake Walman just got injured in Sweden, so maybe they’re recalling Edvinsson?
