Leads the team in giveaways with the least amount of ice time so, sort of.

I remember there was a poster here who tried to argue that Dennis Wideman was not a good offensive defenseman because he didn't have enough giveaways. If that poster is still here, I hope they chime in.

It was a hamstring in the playoffs and I bet that's what he's may have done-tweaked the hamstring.

I really hope not. I hate hamstring injuries for this reason. Their just never seem to go away.

All I know is whoever they call up...they have to break up Boychuk/Bart...my god were they horrible last night playing together.

Jack Edwards several times mentioned that Bartkowski looked like he was playing injured after that non-boarding - like he hurt his knee.

Any news on Bart?

To my untrained eyes, Boychuk and Hamilton were brutal last night. Both seemed to be coughing it up regularly, and making bad decisions in general. In their defense (pun intended :D), they were playing with 5 D and it always seems to mess with the player's games when a guy goes out early.

Luckily, Rask bailed them out last night...it happens.

This was more prior to him getting hurt in the 2nd. Him and Boychuk let Kreider walk the blueline too many times during that game.

I'd say he's okay...probably bruised if anything, but he stayed in the game and wasn't shying away from any hits in the defensive zone.

I did not like that pairing at all. Boychuck has his strengths, but doesn't strike me as the most cerebral d-man, and Bart is the least experienced D right now...not a good combo IMO. If Sides is out and McQ is back, I would like to see:

Z-Dougie
Krug-JB
Bart-McQ

He was limping after that hit. It definitely bothered him, but he gutted it out. I really hope he's OK, but I wouldn't be shocked if it swelled up on him afterward. The Bruins are off today so we'll find out tomorrow.

Funny that the bartkowski boychuk pairing was so bad last night against the rangers when they were so good together in the 2nd round last season... Against the rangers

Not trying to make excuses for Bart because as a healthy scratch, you try and be ready at all times but I have to think, in spite of last year`s time played, to come in and be truly ready after sitting so much isn`t easy.

To be honest, on 3 separate occasions, I watched JB really put Bart into awkward situations by passing the puck to him when he should have just used the boards. They`ll be fine, I feel like I am in the minority here but I really, really like Bart`s game. A little more full time duty and he`ll settle a bit

I love Barts game he was nothing short of awesome in the playoffs. I don't think he has been bad this year but he hasn't been as good and it could be due to not playing enough. Last night a lot of the defenseman were not good I would say Hamilton might have been the worse in his own end. As a rule I love this group I am not sure everyone realizes how much more depth the bruins have on defense as well as forward compared to the past few years. As long as the injuries stay minor I don't mind them at all because all seven of these defenseman deserve ice time.

Listening to the Fan 590 this morning, they were saying that Seidenberg is ahead of schedule and there is a possibility that he could return at some point in the playoffs.

Can anyone confirm this?

If it's true, dude's a beast!

If it's true then holy ****!

Chara-Hamilton
Seids-Boychuk
Krug-Miller/Mcquaid/Bart

That's a damn good defense

Good news if true, but he honestly should jsut wait till camp to be 100% healthy again.

No. No no no.

I'm all for an "all in" approach...but no. You don't rush knee injuries.
