For me, it’s all about Robyn. After an early career as, at worst, a very good pop/R&B artist, she met Karin Dreijer, started her own label, and became the single greatest dance/synthpop artist since disco, or if you’re European (specifically Swedish), ABBA. She released Body Talk as 3 EP’s and that was the apex.
