The obvious answer is the most obvious.

I’m actually amazed that I haven’t heard one pundit throw this out there, Steve Dangle, or anyone else… The fact that they have not looks more like a measure of respect for the process to me.

What teams in the west (because that’s obviously where he’s going) have enough cap space to buy a moon’s worth of Quaaludes, wants to make a splash, and wants to show the league that they are in it for real?

On the other side, the chances that no players that finished this season with term remaining on a contract to the Arizona Coyotes contacted their agents Saturday night or Sunday morning is less than zero.
