Nill did a great job this offseason. I don't know that Dallas will be the team that comes out of the West but this almost assuredly puts them back in the playoff picture.

Brian Lawton called Radulov to Dallas on NHL Network the other day.

That offense is going to be terrifying and with the additions of Methot and Bishop, Dallas is primed to make noise again.

Both their offence and defense will be terrifying. Just in different ways. They will be one of he most exciting teams to watch though and should be in the playoffs.

Good signing. As far as 31-yos are concerned, Radulov isn't a bad choice for a 6 year deal: far fewer games and minutes accumulated in the KHL than the NHL, which means that there's relatively fewer miles in his body. Remember that Jagr says that his time in the KHL helped to extend his career.

Based on some of the comments in this thread, I think we need a little reminder that Radulov's career high in points is 58, goals is 26 (2007-2008). Good secondary offence for an already high end offensive team

5 years and Canadiens wouldn't beat that?

Congrats Dallas. The Central just got a lot scarier. The Stars have seriously upgraded up front (Hanzal, Radulov), upgraded the back end (Methot), upgraded goaltending (Bishop), and upgraded team defense (Hitchcock). They should be in the playoffs next year.

Fixed it for yah. They could have if they wanted to. Berg decided to hold fast.

Personally, I'd have given him 5x6. Berg wouldn't budge beyond 4 years.

What's the plus though? 6.8M is a lot different than 6M at this term and age.

If Bishop's groin holds up, they can be a team to compete with Nashville, Chicago, and Minnesota for the division.

Damn perfect fit... good for the Stars they're looking lean and mean again this year.

Might take them a bit to adjust to Hitchcock's system but once they do...
