Yep, but I'll give a chance to @Johnny Tomala to tie it. So we can have a little suspense for the last day.

I have no chance. I blew a 3 pts lead. I picked Florida since I knew You would pick Boston. My head tells me Boston will win, but I need to pick Florida to have a chance but I think I will lose it by 2 points. Those missed games I didn't predict in October 09 were crucial.

Yep, Boston need to win that game to take the 1st seed.
Florida need to lose that game in regulation to "gain" a place for the Dahlin race. If they lose in regulation. STL will passe them in the standings (because of ROW)

I was watching the Caps game but followed the scoreboard.

At 3-1 Detroit I wanted to change my pick for 1 of 4 games that didn't start yet, but I forgot, was focused on the Caps game. Then after the final whistle I thought the NYI/DET game was over but I saw it was 3-3. Tuned in for the OT, and 6-7 seconds before Tavares scored, my apple tv has freezed. Then I re opened it again and saw the Isles celebrate.

I was lucky, Mantha had a breakaway in OT, Bertuzzi hit the post too.

I was really reaching this past week in an effort to put myself in a position to go for the gold... as defending champ from last year, I had to try to retain the crown .

Great participation by so many, right down to the end.

Excellent job @Johnny Tomala for making it close race right down to the last day. I too missed 9 games and that cost me in the end (well, maybe my Oilers had something to do with it too )... it happens to almost all of us. You should have stuck with your Florida pick... last year myself and @megalomania tied and it was decided that win percentage is 1st tie breaker.


Congrats to @ovikovy817 for a very consistent season and taking the gold in the end... well done! Also, thanks for assisting @tony d with the results corrections.


Finally, a BIG THANKS to @tony d for an amazing job running this thread and all of the regular posting of the results!!

Thanks to @tony d for organizing this and for your amazing job. Like I said it few times already, I know how hard it's to organize such a big thing (I organized myself for almost a decade a kind of a "pickem" tournament in cycling)

Now, I'm waiting for an even difficult battle in the playoffs.

Congrats @ovikovy817 - you had a very consistent season and were in the lead almost all year, deserved winner in my book. Great job @Johnny Tomala for making it such a close race in the end. Reminds me of last year when @zar and I ended the season tied for wins but unfortunately not for win percentage That's just the way things go sometimes. I also missed a few games this year (must be around 24 looking at other people's results) but everybody ahead of me has a much better winning percentage than I do so it wouldn't have helped much in the end. After finishing 2nd two years in a row I'm now 4th and looking forward to being in the race again these playoffs and next year.

Thanks to everyone that participated and most of all to @tony d for the amazing job you're doing year after year running this thread. It is much appreciated by myself and everyone else I'm sure.

I'm game for sure and I think a few others have also signaled their interest. First games are on Wednesday so we might as well get started soon I'd think. One way of doing it could be 1 point for nightly games as before and something like 3 for picking series winner and 2 for picking series length in games (both to be picked before the first game)? Or 5 for series winner, 3 for length, 1 for nightly games?

I've got a lot of free time right now so I could assist or double-check or whatever, just say the word
