... but why? from what I saw so far he was literally useless. IMO, even M. Fayne has more hockey sense/IQ than Burmistrom

Because Burmi was a legitimate NHL player at the age of 20 and 21? He may have regressed since then but if he gets fed a lot of cushy minutes he might be able to find his game again.

Apparently he expressed his unhappiness with him being in the pressbox.

Being unhappy that you are not playing is considered an attitude issue now? I would be worried if a player was content with sitting the press box

I thought they would. I don't know why though. The name of the player fit with the team for some reason lol.

How about the fact that advanced stats would tell you Marincin is one of the best D in the NHL and Fowler one of the worst??
Advanced stats pointed to Marincin being above average. That's it. And yeah Fowler is/was pretty weak even when you keep in mind who his partners were.

"tell you" - I like the way you phrase it. It says everything.

Tried to board the plane to Phoenix but turned over his ticket while in line. Classic Burmi. Good luck Yotes.

A lot of people upset that Arizona make waiver claims.

Claims are free assets. No trades, no drafting. Someone else doesn't want them and you have a spot, give them a chance. What's the big deal?

On a team playing horrible anything can happen with these players to change things up, or worst case scenario they simply insulate the prospects from the team's giant lump of suck and then get exposed in the draft, or go unsigned.

And remember, Holland played great against the leafs, maybe Arizona wanted a fourth liner to step up against Winnipeg :)

What has he done to ruin the team for 10 years? The only way to do that is to trade away first rounders and young players, which he is not doing.

....or by being a bottom dweller for multiple years, while losing money because fans don't pay to watch terrible teams.

If he doesn't turn the coyotes around by next season and start bringing in full buildings, and actual profit that isn't artificial thanks to the leafs and habs and rangers, the team will be gone.

That's how one ruins a team. He's on his way to that. Gotta actually bring in good players to win games at some point. But it's a catch 22. Need money for good players. Can't make money because you have no good players. Tough spot for the league, as they for some reason want to keep s team there, but are also looking at alternate locations for the franchise

He signed Goligoski, McGinn, and Ryan White. Made some great trades. He's doing great, thanks for the concern trolling.

The Coyotes are unwatchable because their coach has stayed well past his expiration date and the team has given up on him.

OEL, Domi, Duclair, Strome, Dvorak, Perlini, Chychrun, etc.

There's the good players, and Arizona's future. Maybe wait until they aren't all teenagers before you **** on a rebuild.

Chyaka is the new Garth Snow.

Never, nobody can top what Snow did and what Snow is, because on a real team Snow would have been fired multiple times long ago.
Great example is this. Chayka didn't extend Loiselle, instead Snow signed Loiselle. Chayka signed Dawn Braid.

he's going to prove the HF mindset doesn't work, just like Edmonton
This isn't the strategy. This is a way of getting Chris Dvorak off our NHL 4th line and on our AHL 1st line. We have money and a roster spot. He's a low-cost asset who might fit. If not, he doesn't get tendered and he's gone in four months.
