I think Perry's 2011. 2011 was a much better season in terms of Art Ross competition than 2015.

Four players scored 90+ points in 2011 while no one hit the 90 point mark in 2015. The NHL's scoring rate in terms of goals per game across the League wasn't that much higher in 20111 than in 2015 (the difference was only 0.12 GPG). Perry had worse offensive support as well.

It's close but probably Perry. Points are about even given the scoring environments and Perry's star linemate was hurt for 1/3 of the year, and in general the Ducks weren't nearly as offensively focused as the Stars
Scoring was actually pretty similar (.14 gpg difference) but I agree that the big difference is that Perry's team wasn't running and gunning. Plus, Benn put up a ton of points to win the scoring title in his last 5 games after his team was already eliminated.

Perry. Because his season actually helped his team make the playoffs. Benn's Stars sucked pretty much all year, and he racked up a lot of points near the end when his team was out and their sole focus seemed to be to get him his points.
