They are arguably the best generational talents in 10 years. How many points will they get in there opening season !?

Eichel- 77
McDavid- 75

Surprised at the lower stats in this thread. The top three rookies last season had 64, 64, and 63 points. Eichel and McDavid will do much better than them.

I think McDavid misses around 10 games to injury and finishes near ppg and Eichel plays the full season and is just behind him.

McDavid 69
Eichel 68

While I agree they will do better, the top rookies last year were
Forsberg - 20 YO (2 years after draft)
Gaudreau - 21 YO (3 years after draft)
Stone - 22 YO (4 years after draft)

Fun fact I just discovered, Forsberg and Johnny Hockey share the same birthdate (one year apart).

McDavid may not get first-pairing PP minutes. There are enough offensive weapons on the Oilers that he might have to score primarily at ES.

I much prefer 50pts and +20 than 75pts and -20.
