This guy gets to play against the easiest scrub goalies since the 80s, so it kinda makes sense.
Love the name! How about Connor McDavid?

Lets not act like "Prime MAF" was anything special, just an average goalie. even worse come playoffs. Oilers Mike Smith is similar.

Letang was not around for 2017 and was playing bottom pair mins in 09.

Lets not act like these two carried Crosby. Especially playoff Fleury lol.
What exactly are we doing in this thread right now?

Correcting a false narrative.

It shouldn't be hard to defend McDavid without making up some false premise about Crosby for no reason.

Anyone saying McDavid is the reason for the Oilers playoffs failure is obviously acting in bad faith.

McDavid was unsatisfied with his previous 2PPG playoffs pace. He decided to aim for 3PPG this year.

Also known as 1PPP, one point per period. Which is what one-legged Draisaitl got against the Flames in the playoffs.

No one really wants to talk about sid in mcdavid threads, it's always some goofy pen fan that brings him up

but does he do intangible and elevate, two-way- to 200 feet? If he's not intangibly playing 200 foot then, I say if they lose, it was because he wasn't 200 way feet.
How many feet/60 did he play last night?

He got fired up watching playoff leader Auston "Big Papi" Matthews light it up aka the playoff #1 earlier

His 5 assist game was the first 5 assist playoff game since 1998. Geoff Courtnall last did it ironically also against the LA kings.

You may not be wrong. It’s surprising how many time Papi has had a big game and McDavid follows it up with one himself
I’d love to see what totals he could amass if he ever played 25 playoff games

LA Kings had like the 3rd best GAA in the league this year.

It's a very good defensive team. McDavid ripping them apart is impressive.

Kucherov just went to Whocherov?

Anytime a player betters a Joe T. playoff metric, you know they have done something special.
