OT: Coming to Pittsburgh from Toronto

Hey guys not sure where to post this but... me and some friends are planning on coming to Pittsburgh in February to watch the leafs face Pittsburgh, Would it be better to grab some tickets online via stubhub/ticketmaster or would it be better to try to grab them from the boxoffice? Secondly do you guys have any recommendations on hotels closeish to the area? Ive been looking but not to sure.

I stayed at the Doubletree right next to the arena. Great people and a shuttle that will bring you to anywhere you want to go including bars in the South side.

I used hot wire to book hotels in Pittsburgh. I'd pick the downtown area close to the arena when booking and would just walk to the arena.... Plus you get pretty good rates on the hotels. I've stayed at station Square, the Omni and the Westin.

Cool, thanks guys.. I think well be staying at the Doubletree, since its close to the arena and to some bars. (Just trying to park my car on the friday and never use it till we have to leave)
