Proposal: Columbus / Ottawa - Chabot for Werenski

I'm not very high on either guy, as they both have pretty significant defensive deficiencies, but Werenski is very easily better than Chabot. Chabot is an absolute trainwreck in his own zone. He makes so many high risk plays and bad reads, it's really insane to me that he gets as much ice time as he does.

Werenski is the better, slightly younger player. CBJ say no.

Especially since i really don't see what the point of this would be. Other than...Ottawa unloading Chabot the whipping boy for an actually more reliable, actual top-pairing top LHD.

Chabot is a lot closer in value to Severson+, vs a 1 for 1 for Werenski.

Ottawa could add a right shot with a lower cap hit + another asset.
