The more I think about this quote, the more I don't get it.

This team was built to be an uptempo skill team whether we like it or not but offensive creativity is being punished for the desire to play a "safe" style.

This team needs to decide what identity it wants to be and find the players to fit that style. We seem to have all of these skills players that we try to make something they are not while stifling what they are actually good at.
