Pelletier and Kylington are nearly healthy after starting the season on IR. Probably just opening up roster spots for them.

The Flames are giving some AHL prospects serious looks. My guess is they want to know who they have before the trade deadline - which is decent thinking.

DiSimone is one of the pending free agents who could have been traded at the deadline but there must not be a market for him - fair enough. Might as well send him to the A where the team is going to need some bodies to fill the roster.

This surprised me. Pair DeSimone with Gilbert and you have a solid 3rd pair. IF they keep their game simple.

I think the Flames are making room for Kylington's return. Oesterle, who I don't think deserves to be up, will be the 7th guy until he is traded at the TDL for a late pick.
