I don't think he will be claimed.
Nothing against the guy, he had a few decent seasons in TB but his career pretty much ended when he left the Lightning.

Honestly he has more value if he clears waivers, teams may give a 6th/7th since he can be a serviceable 13th/14th forward that effectively doesn't count against the cap when buried.

Only way I see him go somewhere else is if he clears waivers and he is then traded. That way, the team acquiring him can send him straight to their AHL affiliate.

Won't get an NHL contract next year.

We knew he was signed for the Quebec factor after letting Danault walk. I didn't expect him to stay up with the big club this long though.
