Congrats CBJ fans. Toward the end of the season his hype decreased a bit, just because of media coverage. He is still the second best player in this draft and could honestly be the best in a few years
Don’t think anyone will take Bedard off his pedestal
Still gonnna be a beauty player tho

Congrats Jackets fans! Out of curiosity do we know which Junior team owns his rights?
I believe it’s the North Bay Battalion out of the OHL. He won’t be playing there however

Do they go baptism by fire approach and put him between Gaudreau/Laine right off the bat? Maybe give them a bunch of o-zone starts and let Jenner's line take the hard matchups when possible.
Second line is the way to go, Jenner will take the tougher matchups forsure.

Should go back to college for one more year, but we know Columbus loves rushing prospects. Jarmo also thinks they're a playoff team.
He was the best player in college hockey last year. He’s physically mature. He has a lot of talented wingers he can play with in Cbus. Lots of Michigan guys there. Babcock (for his faults) is a great hockey mind.

There’d have been very little for him to gain by going back to Michigan. More likely he’d pick up bad habits going against guys he’s significantly better than.

If for whatever reason he’s not NHL- ready, he can play in the AHL. The AHL’s a better fit for him at his current skill/physical development than another year in NCAA. But hopefully he’s NHL ready.
