Hearing 1 game for Hyman which is BS, should be 2 minimum, his wasn’t reactionary to a slash, he came in preplanned with intent to injure.

Game 4 should be pretty heated. I have no problem with Juulsen in, he is tough as they come.

And Soucy was a little injured in the last game. Could be a problem going forward however as any further rough stuff could be punished more harshly. And I'm a little concerned about Juulsen chasing hits. But he has the ability to hang in there. Better than Nurse and Ceci at any rate.

This is truly one of those superstar treatment things. We've seen guys cross checked in the nape of the neck as they're on the ice go without a hearing but this one was too glaring with all the cameras fixed on them. They'll say it was because it's after the game had ended and ya, that's fine, good point, but boy.

You do that to Jonny brodzinski, no chance there's even a hearing.

Hyman deliberately targetted the head.

Perception also has an impact on suspensions. I have seen some very lame hits given suspensions because the camera angle made the hit look worse then it was and some bad plays that had awful camera angles and didn't look as bad as it actually was not given suspensions. The crosscheck to McDavid looks far worse then the Hyman one so that will likely have an impact, rightly or wrongly.

Trying to make sense of NHL officiating is a fools errand, It will never make sense. That is why it is something a team just has to deal with, complaining will not win you any games.

That Soucy cross check was a suspension but this wasn’t. Hyman literally targeted his face and he needed stitches, but sure lmao. f*** the NHL
