The other thread hit 1,000, so with training camp over and the preseason set to begin this week now is a good time to start a new thread.

Prediction: Panthers go 10-6, good enough for the last Wild-Card spot. Everyone keeps their job for another season.

Oh, and lets not forget that the Panthers have the NFLs best fight song :sarcasm:

Huh, that's actually not bad. I was expecting far far worse. Definitely has a rather 50s vibe to it that doesn't really match the team, but whadda ya gonna do.

Anyway, Cam's shoulder has looked far, far better so far in camp, and I'm quite hopeful. That alone should make a huge difference, and they've made a lot of decent moves this offseason. Nothing earth shattering, but they've filled holes and gotten younger and healthier at some key positions. I expect them to be back to one of the elite teams in the NFC.

I like the song, but it could use some tweaks.

Reminds me a lot of the Fly Eagles Fly song for Philly. My only complaint is that it goes on a little too long. Wrap it up at the natural break right around the 30 second mark and then go right into the KEEP POUNDING, and... hey, I think it could gain traction.

If this guy blows up, he's gonna get iconic in a hurry.

Kinda perplexing he has been 4th string with Allen and Grier mostly stinking it up all preseason. I was a big fan of the Grier pick but he has looked like practice squad fodder, not even close to a 3rd round pick unfortunately.

Air Raid doesn't translate well to most NFL offenses.

And even if it translates well to some (other than Kingsbury) the Panthers offense under Norv Turner is about as far from Air Raid as you can get.

Grier is going to have a long transition to a traditional NFL offense.

Air Raid QBs are still going to become the norm in the NFL. Patrick Mahomes and probably Baker Mayfield are just the start. You're right about Grier and Norv Turner being mismatches though. Personally I can't stand Norv Turner's offense but it did allow McCaffrey to break out last year.
