The canes actually have a pretty good record against the pens at home in recent years. I think the guys come out strong after their sorry effort in Washington and get the win.

5-1 loss. Boychuk scores a hatty and Sutter gets a couple of goals. The Canes goal is by Murphy with assists from J.Staal and LaRose. E.Staal spends most of his time rolling around on the ice after losing a faceoff to Crosby.

Hi, you must be new here. That's how it is after every single tiny shred of adversity. The season may as well end tomorrow. JR thinking about making a trade? He'll surely get fleeced or reacquire someone. It's all so very tiring and repetitive.

There's no doubt the team is struggling due to the injuries. But Pittsburgh has given up the same amount of goals as Carolina (albeit in more games). If Cam can stay sharp, I can see Carolina scoring 3+ tonight as well.

I, for one, am excited to take in my 3rd game of the year (win vs. Buffalo, loss vs. Boston). It'll be the most games I've gone to in a single season since I moved from Raleigh after the cup year. Unfortunately, I'll be bringing 3 Penguin fans and 1 Leafs fan with me.
