His corsi and shots for % are both even, his shots/60 and corsi/60 are right there with Zacha.

But the worst on-ice shooting % and 2nd worst on-ice save % amongst regulars.

You know....looking at that hit, it seemed like a normal CLEAN hit you would see nowadays. It was just unfortunate what happened with Francis afterward.

I mean....Stevens didn't throw any elbows. Plus, Francis still had the puck just prior to impact.

I still don't think we're icing the best team we possibly can. Yes that does have to do with injuries, but coaching is a big reason why as well. That said.....

A full season series left with the Hurricanes is HUGE. How they play against them will significantly impact whether they make the playoffs or not. They've gotta show they can play with them.

Their D core is crazy. They have a solid underrated forward core too. If they added a legit 1C and a goalie theyd be insane

It wasn't super obvious but I'm sure there was a fair amount of shoulder to the head going on there. Height of Francis, and his head being down play into.

But that was a Stevens MO. Catching guys with their heads down.

I agree, I've seen hits (like Severson the other night) where I thought the player was out cold and they bounce up no problem ..weird

Ward is actually playing pretty well for them as of late. Once they get a number 1 center, and if Ward can continue to play like this or they get a guy to take over for him when he's finally done, they'll be legit.
