Ganly's my late round sleeper for the draft.

Ugly skater, but high hockey IQ and tough as nails. He dropped the mitts 8 times this season and fared well. There were various points of the year where he had to take on tougher minutes and he played quite well.

Didn't score a goal this season, but makes a good breakout pass and has lots of poise with the puck. Shot needs work.

With Tyler Lewington still on the board I'm a bit surprised at this pick. But I don't know anything about him. Do know that Lewington killed the strength tests at the combine.

I'm not sure I can reconcile the first sentence with the second. This is why I love draft day.

We'll see more next season when he'll be leaned on a bit more on his junior team. He reportedly did pretty well when asked too play more minutes then expected this past season

He's a good late round pick. Lots to like about how he plays the game. He'll have to improve his skating and general mobility though.

On the positive, he'll be wearing an 'A' already in the Soo next year.
