He may not have a ton of goals, but damn has he been impressive this year. I really think Yeti and Iginla will make the difference this year come playoff time.

A friend on a music forum came up with the nickname Iceberg for him, which actually makes sense haha. Huge, stoic and strong, and comes from the frozen north.

How many threads is this for Carl now? I may have to go back and count them. At least Lonnie can no longer say Soderberg holds the record for most threads for a guy that has never even played for the B's

No Loui has easily taken that one over.

I hated those threads with a passion. All the talk about a myth.

Now, I love them.

They made a big deal out of the blind pass, but it's the puck possession, size and quick release that impressed me most last night. The guy reminds me of Eric Staal, and I don't think he's that far off from him, and he's our third line center. What a luxury.

Is he the best playmaker on the team? He's easily on par skill-wise with Krejci and Bergy, but he seems to have better playmaking vision and offensive instincts in general. He's been fun to watch

We have 3 first line centers. Only other team with that kind of depth at center would have to be San Jose(Thornton, Couture, Pavelski). I'll take our guys though since they are a step better when the games get tough(playoffs).
