I'm gonna spin this into a positive. That 1st Caps should have been down 2 or 3. Only down 1, so have to regroup for the 2nd period. Habs are helping us by being up 2-0 on the Flyers.
My point is that Carbery knows this team inside and out and they still struggle big time. They've had our number for a few years. From my experience watching the two teams play live almost every time they come to Toronto, it comes from the fact that the Leafs transition very quickly and generate a lot of shots on goal.
The 18 shots they sent weren't all quality, a lot of them were from the outside. They do cause the Caps D to run around to get to rebounds, which tires them out eventually.

It's a 2-way street! Leafs know Carbery's coaching style. My point is that Carbery knows this team inside and out and they still struggle big time.
What is wrong with you that you're so miserable you're calling a deflection goal an accident just to keep up this bullshit? They scored a goal on accident. Love it.
The ignore button is a wonderful feature. What is wrong with you that you're so miserable you're calling a deflection goal an accident just to keep up this bullshit?
Rather take it to task for the garbage it is, it's still a discussion board after all. You show up to be miserable and then something good happens and your reflex is to diminish what was very clearly an intentional deflection so you can keep pouting. The ignore button is a wonderful feature.
