Especially Kuzy (self-admittedly so), hope Lavi has instilled
the moxie and gumption genes enough from the full pre-season

Effort has been happily a non-issue so far this season (minus the excusable 3 goal lead in the 3rd where just about every team takes the foot off the gas some)

CGY shutout DET 3-0 on Thu so at least they're not coming in with absolute desperation for their 1st win (1-1-1)

That game was when the Nationals just won the World Series and Ryan Zimmerman, Max Scherzer and them were partying it up in the stands like Ovechkin and the Caps did at Nats Park after the Stanley Cup.
