Good speed and effort that period. 43 looked rusty after 4 games off, but got good positioning on Prout to draw the penalty.

Carlson looked rusty too , even though he has not missed any games. He was atrocious on our one PP.

Pleasantly surprised by our urgency and puck pursuit so far.

Devils are a streaky team. Almost noting is going on for them and suddenly out of nowhere one of their fast forwards are in our zone with others trailing. Also their head coach is such a Jersey guy, kinda fitting them
