Just planning for the draft and next season and would like to know if we're sticking with the $40 mil cap for next season or will we be taking the NHL's current projection for next year of $42 million?

No expectation that we will be changing the cap, as unlike the NHL our revenues are fairly fixed (although I suspect they got tweaked one notch too far in the teams' favour this season during the reset of the league files...).

I believe it's set for June 17th at 10 AM EST (7 AM PST, 3 PM GMT), but look for an official announcement from Matt on that.

I hope I'll be able to make that date.. I probably won't be home that weekend, so I'll just have to try to find a computer with an internet connection to use for a few hours.. but I'll solve that somehow..

I may have to get Brock to draft my players with a list I will devise because I will be on assignment in Massachusetts teaching roller hockey at a kids camp from June til August. I will sort that out in the future though.
