Hopefully Miller and Boeser are gone.

Nothing against them, both talented players but i would rather the team go in another direction.
Would that direction be watching EP bolt and become the Sabres of the west? Trading 2 of our top 3 c will lead exactly to that.

I get going in a different direction but you don't gut your centre depth to accomplish that, especially when you will have to replace that via ufa. How many teams year after year struggle to find one.

Move Garland, Myers, Brock, he'll even buying out OEL saves us 6 million a year and only adds 4 of dead cap of 1-2 million 4 years from now.
JT is going to be a piece we want even when he's in his 30s, look at the Bruins or any cup teams, they all have tons of vets, that's who you win with supporting the young stars.

They have premium assets that several teams should covet:

Miller
Boeser
Demko
Schenn

If Vancouver really wants to sell, they really REALLY could and get quite the haul.
If they move JT and Demko, might as well move EP and Quinn because that will signify a complete rebuild.
Makes zero sense with the young corre we have, this year has sucked but there are actual extenuating circumstances for it. Not saying we're cup contenders but this should have been the season we started climbing but obviously wasn't. Doesn't mean we should panic and move the core players.

So those people responding to the earlier Barzal for Pettersson proposal

You know the poster was trying to pull the wool over eyes, Right!

The Elias Pettersson he was referring to was 18 year old RHD Elias Pettersson, drafted last year in the 3rd round by the Canucks.............not 23 year old Elias Pettersson the Center.....

He was poking fun at you, seeing if you all would bite. Apparently, some did! LOL

Thinking Boeser and Myers to Pittsburgh for Pickering, a young dman and picks makes sense.....for the Canucks at least 😆

Pettersson to the Red Wings for Zadina. (E5)
Plus Seider and Raymond and 1st round pick 2023

EK to Vancouver for Myers and Boeser.

Does this make sense? No.

Would it be funny? Yes.
EK for OEL makes sense for Canucks

3 team trade where both players are 75% retained for Boston Bruins.
And Boston doesn't have anything to give for that retention Boeser and Miller aside for their one top prospect

I would take that deal in a heart beat if there is no retention for Boeser.

Agreed, I'm very happy that we decided to move on from Bo Horvat. Hasn't done much with the Canucks and IMO not a good captain.

Chychrun coming to Vancouver? That would be a turn of events with all these extra picks we have. Maybe the ask drops a little bit and we swoop in even though he plays left side. Tocchet would be familiar with him as a player.

Beauvillier showing that he (while not a line driver) is producing well as a top 6 winger 10000% makes Boeser /Garly expendable. definitely a trade going down soon
