Semi-related, down the stretch i'd like to see them swap orlov and burns (chatty playing on the left) as an experiment.. At least see what slavin-orlov can do, and get burns a slightly lighter load ahead of the playoffs.

Why? If Pesce is gone we can have Skjei & Chatty for probably less combined money than they cost right now. Get some cheaper depth guys as #6/7. After next year Orlov & Burns are off the books ($13M) and potentially Nikishin & Morrow enter the fray on cheaper contracts

Jarvis, Necas, and slavin are all getting large raises. Potentially adding in Guentzel’s large number too. We are going to need to fill our 1RD / 2RD for cheap while filling our roster. That will be a lot harder committing 6.5 million for 7 years to skjei
