Wow what a great GDT.

If the Habs this season had put this much effort into their games has Roy put into making this GDT they would be in a playoff spot right now.

It's not only effort. Roy has talent. Habs have little of it.

It's actually not that crazy of an idea. Galchenyuk and Drouin can drag DLR kicking and screaming to offensive production, while DLR can take out the trash defensively.

I think DLR has what you're looking for in a center without having the high end offensive IQ.

He's the type of player who can fit in well with other players IMO...

I like this line personally...hoping they get a legit shot.

He might not be the ideal choice. But neither Drouin or Galchenyuk are known for their defense. So IMO putting DLR (as their center) should help provide some balance. Especially in their own zone.
