You didn’t say for who.
Coin flip.lol.

Canada has pedigree and always comes up big

Swedes rule on round robin

It is on big ice which favors Sweden

It is in Sweden which I think favors Canada

Coin flip.

If I'm being honest... Very hard to beat a team twice in the same tourney and not seem HIGHLY likely to be in semis so a loss might not be a bad thing. Eg. Czechs beat Canada in round robin last year but lost the gold medal game.

I don't think there's been an O.T. game, yet, and I hope there won't be one tomorrow. Canada NEEDS to win in Regulation. Assuming we do and assuming we beat Germany by the same 5 goals Germany lost to Sweden by, Canada will be 4-0 and +19 Goal Differential.

Will that be enough to be Top Seed in the Semis? Not sure.

The U.S. is +11 but I'm not sure how badly they will beat Czechia and Slovakia. I could see a one goal game in one of those two matches.

If Canada finishes the Top Seed in the semi's, I could see us facing Slovakia - it's better than Sweden at home.

But, as you said, it's hard to beat a team twice so...

If the tournament ended today, the Seeding would be :

Canada
U.S.
Sweden
Slovakia
Czechia
Germany
Finland
Norway
Swiss
Latvia

... and Canada would get Norway in the Quarters. I can live with that. :)

Canada has the last game of the Round Robin. That will work in our favour - we'll know how many goals we need to beat Germany by.

Who to cheer for? It’s a prospects’ tournament. Want us (Canada) to win but want the hometown club’s (Van) prospects to do well. Go CanSweeda?

Will be interesting to see how Rousseau holds up. He is going to be tested.
Could see this one being a shootout last goal wins type of game.

Who are the good guys?

Pettersson and Willander need to play a clean control/finish the check for Swedens D. Like to some board rub outs and finished checks.

Lekki needs to keep his feet moving and get to the messy areas while controlling his man. Own the paint early on and the chances from farther out will materialize.
