they can do pass thru retentions and get picks. Compensation for rentals is tied to real dollars paid in salary..


Dowd, while a dent pick up, is not getting a 1st outright even with retention.

you take someone with term like goodrow you could get a 1st back or a decent prospect Or ELC.

As a Colorado fan I'd definitely do it.

1st + Ryan Johansen for Dowd at 50%. If the rumors are true about Washington desperately wanting to get a 1st for Dowd, this would be a good way for them to do it.
