I like Beaudin a lot, but I want to see him getting 20 minutes a night in Rockford.

Him quarterbacking a power play with Reichel, Entwistle, Alty, and Connolly should do some nice damage.

It's clear that Mitchell should start the season in RFD despite the RD situation.

I don't think either guy is particularly close to ready. Beaudin looks better because he has very good hockey sense.

Not necessarily. I just don't think JC has given Beaudin enough pre-season ice time to say one way or the other.

As for Mitchell: We saw again last game that he shies away when an ops player gets in his face.
