Encouraging to read that he's playing well as a winger. Doesn't seem like he's had any issues transitioning to the smaller ice surface

Hopefully they will test him as a centreman at some point

I'll reserve making any judgement this soon. He is a blue-chipper but it's too early to call him top 5 prospect this soon.

Who said he was a top 5 prospect? Please quote for our reading pleasure?!

He is ranked as the 26th best prospect by HF. I could argue he should be higher.

My apologies, must have misinterpreted some posts in my head from some time ago. If that is the case, then it's all good.

I see him being a 50-60 pts second line W/C on a bubble playoff team.

Turns out it wasnt the motherboard, it was the actual battery that was fried! So you were right! Thanks again. Nylander starting to settle in. Getting a PP point.

I find it extremely difficult to find anything negative about NYLANDER.

He may some day be the most productive offensive player from this draft class.

Has the skills and production to back it up.

I think Nylander has a very large forehead which makes him look funny when he is wearing a helmet. THERE I SAID SOMETHING NEGATIVE ABOUT HIM

Cory Pronman ranked him 1st (of drafted prospects I believe)...of course the typical ****storm on HF ensued.

He's got some flaws that can be corrected, the proverbial diamond in the rough imho.

He took one draw near the end of the second period. He lost it though.
#bust :sarcasm:

Haha, but I really hope they give him a chance at C at some point this season. They might be hesitant about trying any experiments right now since the Marlies are trying to make a run for the playoffs

I want to see him centre Leivo and Brown. Rupert hasn't looked good as the centre on that line from the games i've seen. Plus then he will have two guys who can shoot on his lines.

1 goal every 4 games? That puts him at 20 goals/season which is probably where he will max out in the NHL.

I don't get why the ****storm ensued though. Pronman was high on Nylander long before the Leafs drafted him.
