It is currently 8 points (with a game at hand) out of a playoff spot, which means getting about 10% more points than they have to this date. Do you believe this team, as constructed today is a playoff team? If you believe the problem is with Blashill you are telling me you believe it is. If you believe the problem is with how its constructed than its likely the team is either performing at expectation, or even above it, being pretty close to the 8th seed in February.

No it’s not. Green is not a legit #1 d-man. Kronwall was. KFQ and Dekeyser were playing like a decent middle pairing and the rest were meh. Today the team has a #3 d man and a bunch of dudes that might not even make a good team.

Our defense is a severe weakness on this team. Kronwall and Ericson turn the puck over on a regular basis. Green is overrated as a power play quarterback. The rest are really inexperienced and it shows a lot.

None of them are as good as Kronwall was before his knee fell apart. Which you know was basically pre-Blashill and that is the biggest problem with our D-core.
