Damn his has a nice shiner
we likely saw his first and only fight for this year. Yikes.
Fourth fight this year, second with Jeannot. The other two were against Wild players - Foligno and Duhaime. The Foligno one was because Stillman hit Greenway up high too

Whenever I see him fight, both here and elsewhere, I think of this...He picks some tough partners to go toe to toe with.
Riley Stillman has a 63% CF% and 53% xG% in 5 games since the trade.
Maybe the Sabres analytics department was up to something after all.
I wouldn't get carried away. Third line pair guy at best
Third pair guys are still a need in our lineup and he's been perfect for what is asked of himI wouldn't get carried away. Third line pair guy at best
Team feeds off his physical play too. I see more of an appetite by others to finish checks when Corey starts throwing his body around.Third pair guys are still a need in our lineup and he's been perfect for what is asked of him
If he turns into a good third pairing guy who plays physical, then this a solid trade. That's someone we need in this line-up. Hopefully he continues playing well.I wouldn't get carried away. Third line pair guy at best
Come on, this is HF land, and we all know that here a freshly drafted 3rd rounder that most haven't even seen play is more valuable than a legit 3rd-pairing vet defenseman.LEGIT 3rd pair guy though............which is far better than what Bryson/Clague/Pilut have been this year in similar circumstances.

Most D that play a physical game will have times where that happens. No player makes the right decision anywhere near all of the time.I'll admit he's been better than advertised since coming here but he has taken himself out of the play a few times to lay a hit which is no good.
If you like Dahlin, Power, and Samuelsson as 1-3 and Jokiharju, Boosh, and Stillman as 5-7 (good luck getting one of them to clear waivers to play in Rochester as 8th on the depth chart), then all they need to address this off season is #4.We've got 7 guys signed for next season on D. I *hope* they are tracking we need a couple of 3/4/5 guys, and not a couple more 6/7/8 guys. Joker/Stillman/Boosh is a strong 6/7/8. The concern here is, Adams coming back with Bryson and Clague. I think we can survive Bryson if we add a guy like Mayfield. That would be barely adequate, C- upgrade. We all know we can do better. Not sure what KA is worried about, Bryson or Stillman not clearing waivers? Who cares?
