Brule's height

who knows, hes only 18, he could still be growing. I would bet on him being 5'10, as its common for players to lie about their height.

What about the combine? Don't they take official measurements there to cut through all the program BS padding so teams know exactly what they are dealing with? And would those figures be available somewhere?

When Central Scouting releases their list, they should have the official heights from the combine. Team websites have a tendency to exaggerate heights.

Height and weight from various team websites are taken from the WHL media guide, which are taken at the beginning of the season.

If there are reports he's either 5'10" or 5'11" then he's probably closer to 5'9.5" than he is to 5'10.5"

The only height and weight figures I trust are on the NHL CSB website. The CSB goes in and measures every kid in the CHL at some point during the season.

They have Brule at 5'10", 177 lbs.

I know this is about Brule's height, but the guy CJ Relke has some great photo's of the prospects game. Just on this page alone has Mikkelson, Staal, Bass, Vincent, etc. Pouliot, Brule, Bourret, Davis, Parent, McArdle and more.

I dont see any reason why a team would lie about one of their players height's. But then again Crosby was listed at 5'11'' for the longest time as well and he's 5'10''. Wasn't Brule at the combine? Someone could find what his height/weight is if you just do some research.

Basically, Brule is the same height as Crosby, but Crosby is much stronger and bigger.

sure you can clearly see that he's 5'10 and not 5'11 who really gives a damn about it, who cares, it's not like the potential of the player grows with him. Height is by far the most overrated thing in hockey it's not even funny, useless thread imo

Yeah but confusions always arises for some reason, they'll bloat up a guy's weight or use some old vitals sometimes.

They usually measure the height themselves.

Basically, Brule is the same height as Crosby, but Crosby is much stronger and bigger.

I don't neccassarily agree, I think Brule has better upper body strength, but Crosby has the best lower body strength of a prospect that iv ever seen.
