Has the number of days on the Duchene trade watch surpassed the Shattenkirk totals as yet?

Looking at the Avs roster and cap situation last night and there is a tremendous amount of work to do in the next 40-50 days. Certainly has a look and feel of being a completely mismangened situation at this point. Something has to give very soon. Could very well be another GM making the necessary moves if the situation continues much longer.

Nikita Zadorov is hoping to get a longer contract offer from the Colorado Avalanche.
Zadorov has a deal on the table with the KHL's CSKA. He's reportedly planning to hold out until the end of July to see if the Avalanche will present him with a better offer and if they don't then he might end up heading to the KHL. The 22-year-old defenseman had 10 assists and 73 penalty minutes in 56 contests in 2016-17.

This is interesting as Zadorov was the main piece in the Oreilly deal in 2015 to help improve Sakics defensive core and now he's in danger of losing him to the KHl.

If Zadorov does go, it wouldn't be much of a shocker if Sakic finally pulls the trigger on a duchene deal.

It's interesting that Hockey News top 5 landing spot had Duchene to Boston 2

Based on what I get I would put it at 30:naughty:

I'd rather look into Tomas Tatar. Probably much cheaper to acquire, consistent 20 goal scorer, plays both wings. He seems unhappy with Detroit and the Wings would like to add futures.
