I have a feeling Tallon is trying to move Bolland but no interest even if we take back $2.5M. Would look to see Shaw on the 3rd line with Tro and Smith. Brickley would step back into the 4th with Howden and Mac. Not sure how both of these guys will do after the call-up as neither was a barn burner after being sent back down. Hopefully, their confidence is still high and they can help the team. The short leash both received from Gallant didn't help the situation, as favorites were allowed to screw up and still get quality minutes. I trust Gallant will continue to roll 4 lines as both of these guys received limited minutes under the old rules. Brick needs to pick his spots better on the big hits and concentrate on getting up ice with his linemates on the forecheck. Shaw hopefully will get enough chances to maybe bury a few. Good luck to both.

Why do you have that feeling?

Well if true that Bolland is being shopped, this will be another moronic move by Tallon bringing in ex-Chicago players that failed here. Hopefully that line of thinking has passed.

I just don't see where he fits here with the youth movement in the next few years. I never saw where he fit here when they signed him. I would be surprised if he gets in the next few games, as I doubt they are going to call up two guys and have them sit in the press box. If they can't move him, I hope he sits until the inevitable injury occurs. Dave has an ego and my guess would be he gives it less than a good effort when he gets his next chance. I see a buyout if they can't move him by the TDL.

Bolland wont be moved! That is just plain stupid.

Bolland has been better than some players...WE have been a wreck without him :D

We need to be without Thornton :D

At $2.5, There's a bunch of teams that would take Bolland LOL

It all depends how much rope Trocheck is going to get. If Gallant has made up his mind that Trocheck is the 3C from now on, then yeah, it's game over for Bolland. But when you look at the games so far after Barkov got back, Trocheck has been far from impressive and that line has spent more time struggling in the defensive zone than playing to Trocheck's strength, aka. offense.

So I wouldn't put Bolland on the chopping block just yet.

Fair point. If Tro doesn't produce, then Bolland will certainly get another look just for competition sake. Besides as I said, I don't see any takers for the guy and unless he turns his game around, I think he gets bought out in the summer. Being a defensive specialist is fine, but the guy needs to chip in some offense from time to time and he has been MIA.

No one would pay more than 1.5 for bolland. he hasnt shown any upside in 4 years. maybe a playoff team in april for the run i could see that. still an excellent pk guy just not in the circle

Tro will have periods of up and down, but as our leading scorer gallant wont make the same mistake he did last year, or perhaps he is making this year with brickley. Brinkley should be playing every day moving forward.

Said it before...bolland will be the jovanaski buyout at years end.

Well our leading scorer is 3rd on the team in scoring with the second worst plus minus on the team and is about to be caught by 3 more guys. I don't care if he wins one more face off per game if he's not going to contribute on either side of the puck.

I hate to be the guy that says "I told you so", but remember when I said that Trocheck should remain in the top6 after Barkov returned, even as a winger? 4 games now on the 3rd line, 0+0 and a -2 to go along with it.

Yeah, he's been invisible on the 3rd line. Thus this obsession with him starting on the 3rd line by some posters is looking to be a bit misplaced!
